Haiti - January 25, 2010
IMTS, using Immersive Media Company’s revolutionary DODECA camera system, was one of the first responders on the ground in Haiti providing news agencies and relief organizations revolutionary 360 immersive video footage of the devastation. CNN highlighted this extraordinary footage in their coverage of the disaster, which may be viewed online at CNN International and Anderson Cooper 360 and currently on the IMC website, www.immersivemedia.com. This is the same system IMTS uses to provide immersive “Patrol View™” imagery for the U.S. Army in Iraq and Afghanistan.
IMTS is working closely with the USG and other relief organizations to provide critical street view spherical video imagery to assist Humanitarian Assistance / Disaster Relief (HA/DR) efforts with FORCE PROTECTION, SITUATIONAL AWARENESS, DAMAGE ASSESSMENT, LOGISTICAL PLANNING, ROUTE RECONNAISSANCE, MISSION PLANNING AND PRE-DEPLOYMENT PREPARATION.
Our personnel are available to deploy, on short notice, to provide similar immersive video anywhere in the world in support of sanctioned U.S. government operations. For more information, or to contract support to your organization, please contact us at info@imtsworld.com.
